Champion Term Reminder - Preferred underwriting classes now start at $100,000 (non-med available up to $99,999). Other changes include:

* Preferred Criteria now more liberal (changes in blood pressure, cholesterol, family history, etc.)
* Now requiring a paramed with blood & urine, instead of vitals
* Non-tobacco rates require 2 year tobacco free period

Changes to the Underwriting Guidelines are being implemented with an effective date of January 1st , 2010. Some of the changes include:

We have a new carrier added called Western Reserve Life. It is under the Stonebridge umbrella. They have cheap term rates are fully underwritten and issue quickly. Contracts are available in the contracting section of this site under Stonebridge. Applications and forms are being added to their site currently. If you need assistance obtaining forms for WRL please contact us so we can send them out in the meantime.

Many carriers have updated rates in 2010. Please make sure you have the most recent version of the carrier software downloaded to your computer.

Remember you can fax or email most all applications and requirements and keep the originals for your records. Aegon now allows us to email the applications directly, so if you are writing Aegon then start emailing your application over to us for expedited processing.
